International Foundation programme
영국의 대학을 입학하고자 하는 학생들 중에서 영국의 고등학교 과정(A-Level) 또는 이와 동등한 교육 과정을 이수하지 않은 외국 학생을 위한 교육 과정으로 NCUK(Northern Consortium of UK Universities) 소속 11개 대학 또는 영국 내의 대학으로 진학을 보장하는 과정입니다.
* NCUK 대학 :University of Bradford, University of Huddersfield, University of Leeds, Leeds Metropolitan University, University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University, The University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Salford, The University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University
과정을 성공적으로 이수시 University of Manchester, University of Sheffield 등 NCUK(Northern Consortium of UK Universities)소속 대학으로 입학이 보장되어지며, Queen Mary University of London 을 비롯한 6개 대학은 공식적으로 이 과정을 이수한 학생을 개별 평가로 입학을 허락하고 있습니다.
1. 입학대상
– 한국에서 고등학교 또는 이와 동등한 교육 과정을 이수한 학생
– 영국 이외의 국가에서 고등학교 교육 과정을 이수한 학생
– 한국등 영국 이외의 지역에서 대학을 다니거나 다녔던 학생 중에서 전공을 바꾸어서 영국 대학으로 진학을 원하는 학생
2. 입학조건
– 12년 이상(고등학교 졸업 학력) 또는 이와 동등한 교육 과정을 이수한 학생
– 4학기 과정 : IELTS 4.5(Writing 4.5 이상) 또는 이와 동등한 성적
– 3학기 과정 : IELTS 5.0(Writing5.0 이상) 또는 이와 동등한 성적
– 2학기 과정 : IELTS 6.0 (Writing6.0 이상) 또는 이와 동등한 성적
– 만17세 이상

– 고등학교 졸업증명서, 성적증명서
– 영어 성적 증명서
– 여권 사본
4. 선택과정 및 진학 가능학과 : 아래는 보편적인 학과이며, 샘플일 뿐임
1) Pathway Leading to Degree in Business and Humanities
– 진학 가능학과 : Business, Economics, Political, Social and International Studies, International Development, Language and communication studies, Education and Lifelong Learning, Arts, Music, sociology, Law
2) Pathway Leading to Degree in Sciences and Engineering
– 진학 가능학과 : Biological Science, Natural Sciences, Biomedicine, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Pharmacy, Mathematics, Computing Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry, Textile Technology
5. 학업내용
선택한 과정에 따라서 필수 및 선택 과목이 달라짐, 진학하고자 하는 학과에 맞추어서 선택 과목을 선택하며 전체 120 Credits 을 이수해야 함
1) Core Modules

2) Specialist Modules : 아래의 내용은 샘플이며 과정에 따라서 선택 달라질 수 있음
